I’m a ceramic artist from the Netherlands, based in Portugal. All of my pieces are thoughtfully developed, crafted and finished on the wheel.

I would like to add value to daily objects through elegant and timeless design that shows the detailed delicacy that is involved. I hope to encourage people to be curious about the process and resources.

In my work I like to show the beauty of clay in its rawness. The colours and textures of nature amaze me. I always look for small moments like changing colours of sunsets, shimmering light reflections or rock and sand formations. It makes me feel like nothing else matters than to watch the world being beautiful in its own form.
